This training session is customized for instructors who are new to the Canvas LMS. The session is designed to familiarise you with the basic need-to-know tools and core functionalities of a Canvas course site and to prepare you to get your course setup. The tools covered include: Layout and Interface, Modules, Files, Pages, Assignments, Quizzes, Discussions, Calendar, Inbox, and People. 

We will leave time to answer any questions you might have at the end. 

Intended Learning Outcomes

By the end of this session, participants should be familiar with:
• navigating within the Canvas interface;
• creating and adding content within a course; and
• creating and adding assignments, quizzes and discussions.
